		<description>What you said about closing yourself to criticism and taking yourself seriously is succinct.   Respect can only be given - it can never be taken (respect that is taken is often called fear).  

Like yourself, I found myself enjoying the perspective that only experience and time can offer a few years ago and have to admit the freedom is very nice.
